You probably do, maybe. I mean freewill exists in the freedom to pursue your will, but you will never act out of your will. Every decision you make is one that you would make, you cannot decide something you wouldn't decide. If you read Schopenhauer, he would describe this not as freedom of the will but as freedom to act. In other words: "Can you will what you will?" Of course you can. The question is: "Can you will how you shall will?" The answer, quite simply, is that you cannot, for it would lead to willing how you will how you will how you will, infinitely. So what you are talking about is not freedom of the will in the sense that most philosophers mean; rather, you are talking about freedom of the will to act, which would be absolutely obvious in any case.
This is basically what people hating gays is like..
You: Waiter, I’d like the cake.
Guy at other table: Uh Waiter, cancel the cake.
You: (Confused) I was gonna have the cake.
Guy: Oh, I don’t like cake.
You: Yeah, but I was gonna have cake over here by myself.
Guy: I don’t want anyone to have cake.
You: Why, what’s wrong with cake?
Guy: God hates cake!
You: You made that up.
Guy: My kids are here, if they see you eating cake, they’re going to want to eat it too! You can go home an eat cake in private, but we’d prefer if you didn’t call it cake - maybe a civil muffin?
Today has been a somewhat slow day. It's my day off from work and it's hot as the devils taint outside. Kevin is at a baseball game hopefully going to win his fourth game in a row while Andre is playing his Xbox 360. Will is at his new job doing God knows what and Dan the man... Well, it's his birthday today! Happy 22ed birthday Dan the Man!
